            REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

We want you to love our products. On this page you will find details about how to return or exchange your purchases made online.

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY AND INSTRUCTIONS

If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us, we will refund the purchase price or exchange those products subject to the following conditions :

1] Items must be returned within 28 days of purchase with the original receipt or other proof of purchase
2] You must provide your name and address
3] The returned items must not be used [Not surfed ].
4] If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges for online) will be refunded to you using the original payment method once we have received the returned item back and confirmed that it meets conditions 1-3 above. You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to us.

Note: Shipping costs can only be refunded on faulty items that have been purchased separately. Shipping will not be refunded if there are other items listed on the invoice when a faulty item is returned.

FAULTY ITEMS RETURNS

If an item is faulty, wrongly described or different from the sample shown then we will meet our legal obligations which may include refunding the purchase price and delivery charges, or providing a replacement product, provided the item is returned within a reasonable time with proof of purchase.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE PURCHASES

All gboards.com.au purchases made online can be exchanged by return freight in Australia.

ONLINE RETURNS VIA RETURN FREIGHT

If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased online, please contact our customer care during the hours of 9am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) on either phone or email as below:

Warranty on Gboards

Our warranty only applies to Surfboards purchased directly from gboards.com.au together with a receipt of purchase. Without limitation to this, our warranty does not apply to products purchased from non-authorised online retailers.

G Board Warranty Conditions:

 

Please read the following warranty conditions carefully

 

  • This warranty is valid for 3 months from date of purchase and covers all manufacturing defects
  • Accidental or forced damage is not covered.
  • Damage caused by dropping the board is not covered.
  • Damage caused by a leash or other accessories is not covered.
  • Boards subject to abuse and misuse are not covered.
  • Under this warranty the manufacture has the right as their option to repair or replace a board that shows defective construction or faulty materials.
  • Any board that is repaired, glued etc. by anyone other than the manufacturer will not be recognized by the manufacturer.
  • In the event that the manufacturer must repair alterations made by another party, these alterations will be charged accordingly plus freight costs.
  • Boards repaired or replaced under warranty will be freight pre-paid.
  • This warranty extends only to the original purchaser.
  • The manufacturer will not recognize claims without Proof of Purchase and any repair costs, freight and other disbursements paid, will be the customer's responsibility.

E-mail Gboards at info@gboards.com.au with a photo of the fault and we will respond too you asap with a return address and shipping instructions.

 

 

 

Liability:

The manufacturer/distributor or the seller shall not be liable for any injury, permanent injury, either direct or indirect or consequential, arising from the use or inability to use the product over the user. The product must be determined before purchase by the person to be suitable to the user then assumes all risks and liabilities what so ever in using the product in connection here within. The forgoing shall not be altered unless authorized in writing by the manufacturer.

 

 

 

 

 

GBOARD CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 

This Gboard is the finest quality learn-to-surf product available, designed to take you to

 the next level.

To ensure you get the most out of you softboard please ensure you follow these simple care instructions.

 

  • Heat is your boards’ No.1 enemy. To avoid damage to the boards decking and blistering of the slick bottom keep out of extreme heat and direct sunlight.

      That includes your board cover or in the boot of your car where the temperature

      can  reach as high as 90 C. Shade is your board's best friend, so use it.

  • When your board has been in the sun or heat it is more prone to creasing, so before you use it, submerge it in water for a few moments to allow it to cool down.
  • This is a soft surfboard, not a skim board. Avoid all contact with abrasive substances such as rocks and gravel.
  • Always wash your board in fresh water.
  • Avoid standing on the board on the ground
  • Avoid tying your board to the roof of your car with rope, use good quality tie down straps to ensure longevity.
